Quality Assurance

The project “Quality assurance in demography consultancy” aims to establish transparency and security for companies and consultants. The goal is to professionalize the demography consultancy and to establish a quality based system.

In particular, small and medium-sized enterprises face major challenges when handling the demographic change. Demographic-guides can help them to assist in managing such tasks. Prerequisite for effective support is that the knowledge and the skills of the consultant and the quality of the instruments are of consistently high quality.

Quality assurance in the field of demographic consultancy means the

• development, testing and permanent establishment of further training opportunities for demographic-guides
• testing and stabilization of possibilities to reflect upon consultancy techniques
• strengthening of communication and exchange between the consultants
• development of a quality reporting system for demographic-guides
• documentation of good practice examples
• preparation of references needed to document and support needs of companies

Project partners are the agentur mark GmbH as bearer of the national headquarters of the Demography Experts Association in cooperation with the Department and Institute of Industrial Science at the RWTH Aachen and the consultancy firm d-ialogo.
